IPLI: BUILDS WITH ANDERSEN -
MOVES TO EVANSTON/CHICAGO
Innovative Projects Lab, Inc. (IPLI) is a venture organization formed by Christopher Galassi as a vehicle to carry out software consulting and development.

Galassi recently teamed up with Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting Division to create simulation software. The resultant application, featured in the May/June issue of Washington Flyer Magazine, was a business model of Andersen’s Audit practice. The software was distributed worldwide. Subsequent to the Andersen work and through an alliance as a beta tester with Powersim, Inc., (Herndon, VA), Galassi can now offer development of such simulations for deployment over the Internet or Intranets.

Galassi has also moved himself and IPLI "physically" to the Chicago area from Indianapolis, choosing to ally with the Evanston Research Park. "I have several areas of focus for IPLI: computing, cognitive science, and medical informatics," says Galassi, an MD who has a graduate degree in Artificial Intelligence from Illinois Urbana. "It is my hope that the NWU Evanston connection will provide some academic and entrepreneurial nurture and a potentially scalable environment for an internal product development I am considering."
